Requirements and fees are set by the country's authority, not by each office. Each guide details them with a source, or explains where to confirm them when no figure can be published.

Before you go

  1. Book your appointment

Most services require an appointment. Book on the official portal, never through intermediaries.

  2. Gather your documents

Check the requirements for your service and bring originals and copies separately.

  3. Reconfirm and arrive early

Check hours and closures the day before. A home-country holiday is the most common cause of a wasted trip.

Practical questions before you go

Short answers based on the jurisdiction, channels and hours documented in this record.

I live in Salt Lake City. Is Denver my consulate?

Yes, all of Utah belongs to the Denver district, as does Wyoming. For services like passports or the consular ID you can walk in or wait for a mobile consulate in your area, announced on the consulate's channels.

Where in Denver is the office?

At 1001 South Monaco Parkway, suite 101, in the southeast of the city near the Mississippi Avenue junction; it is not downtown. The inquiries line is (303) 629-9212.

What if I lose my passport while traveling through Wyoming?

Call the consulate's protection line, (303) 502-7876, also on WhatsApp. They can guide you on the emergency travel document and the steps to replace your passport from Denver.

Office-specific notes

  • It single-handedly covers three Mountain states (Colorado, Utah and Wyoming), one of the largest districts by distance in the Guatemalan network.
  • The office is in southeast Denver on Monaco Parkway, not downtown, so plan your trip accordingly.
  • It keeps an emergency line separate from the switchboard, (303) 502-7876, also answered on WhatsApp.
