Corrections policy
Hours, phones, jurisdictions and booking portals change without notice. Reporting an error should be quick, and the outcome should be visible.
How to report an error
Write to us with the record URL, the field that looks wrong and, if you have it, the official link that proves it.
You do not need to identify yourself or justify your interest. A report with a source is processed sooner, but both are reviewed.
What happens next
We check the field against the primary source, not against the report. If confirmed, we update the field, log the change and record the new verification date.
If we cannot confirm it, we downgrade the field to “unconfirmed” rather than keeping it as if it were checked.
Timing and priority
We prioritise by risk: closures, addresses, emergency numbers, appointment links and cancelled outreach days come first.
We aim to review reports about sensitive information within two working days.
Transparency and appeal
Material changes appear in the record's public history, summarised without exposing personal details of the reviewer or the reporter.
If an office or a person believes a published field is wrong, they can request a second review citing the supporting source.
